Organic threads: a cooperation with a global leader
“Glance at the sun. See the moon and stairs. Gaze at the beauty of earth’s greenings. Now think. What delight God gives to humankind with all these things…All nature is at the disposal of humankind. We are to work with it. For without we cannot survive.” ” words by Hildegard von Bingen, a nun who lived in the XII century in Holy Roman Empire. Nature is our birthplace and home. Each and every part that it creates is healthy and has a purpose, even the taniest branches of a tree, are pure and strong. By observing nature, we come close to the best solutions and ways of doing things. Nature is a wholistic system, in a delicate state of balanse. It can keep creating life for another billions of years. Can humans with our current ways of being and life do it? Yes! Organic threads are the keyword here.
Nature as a mentor. Indeed, it teaches us how to create our world from scratch, even the smallest parts in the products, like threads for stitching. Further, they should be well thought-out, organic, no matter how small, as the organic threads are like the tiny branches of a tree.

You define your future, step by step.
Nature has been my love and inspiration for tens of years. As humans, we observe it, and try to copy it. Moreover, at our company EcoHealthLab, we had always wanted to create fully organic product, to its tiniest part. Further, we searched the world for the organic threads, to make our products pure. And finally we found them. Furthermore, from January 2023 we have started using organic threads for stitching in our organic mattresses and pillows. In addition, they are expensive, yes… but by choosing them instead of the globally used polyester threads, we come close to nature’s perfection in each creation, and make truly natural products. Organic mattresses and pillows, to be fully organic, need to have organic threads as well. Finally, the closer a product is to purity in terms of being toxins-free, the healthier you will be in your future.
Imagine. Everything is possible
See the future, full of beauty of nature, happy children, adults. Humans and nature in a state of harmony. They do not experience high levels of stress, illness, toxic waste, dirt and destruction. Next, in their lives, they have peace of mind and time for rest, work with a sense of purpose. Moreover, see incredibly beautiful nature, tremendous architecture, that produce energy, in the cities and towns. Finally, visualize shops full of products that do not harm the earthlings, by being toxins-free.
The starting point
It sounds like a utopia (an impossible ideal), as it is so different to how our world looks like nowadays. Like a dream. Indeed, we are taught from an early age that dreams are for children and fairy tales. But, dreams like to come true, and fairy tales become a reality if a person believes in them. Like Einsten or Tesla did.
Nature is our teacher.
Nature does it, and it has been its way for billions of years. No toxins, everything is food and can form another form of life. When an animal dies, it can safely decompose or be eaten by another animal. Moreover, without harmful toxic waste. So it is doable. If it can be done, it will. Now, let’s look on human creations on this planet. Mostly it is destruction, eradication of the species, toxic waste. Further, just look on conventional cotton, that needs chemical substances to grow, pesticides that destroy the environmet and human health. We wrote about it in our articles:
Conventional cotton has a dark side
Cotton pesticides in a conventional crop
If it can be done, it will. It is our philosophy in EcoHealthLab. Finally, we believe, that it is where we all start.
Nature as our mentor
In nature, each and every part of the living organism makes sense and fits. There is no possibility of nature creating an organism, that has unnecessary parts. Let’s take a bird. Everything makes sense in it, to help the bird fly and conserve energy. The weight of its wings, their shape, the construction of the body. The circulatory system is perfectly combined with the respiratory system. When we look closely how brilliantly designed are nature’s creations, human body as well, we may be shocked. But, this is the way our products should be made.
Because of this way of being, nature has thrived and survived on this planet for billions of years. Every living creature was food for another organism, and played a part in the greater whole.
But, what we humans have created in our world, like carpets for example, is vastly differnt. They look good, have beautiful designs and colours, are soft and cozy, but are chemical and toxic. When a person throws it away, it becomes rubbish. The products human build, create and make should be like nature’s creation. That is why…
EcoHealthLab takes a step forward
“The bed is great, very comfortable and very high quality craftsmanship.” said Gregory,
Yes, all of our customers say a similar thing (there was one person who did not like our bed, she felt it was too hard, just after the first night and wanted to give it back, but eventually decided to keep it). They repeat that their experience is great, they feel amazing, that the bed is organic, beautiful, minimalistic. Perfectly done, the higest form of craftsmanship.

Organic threads
Wonderful. Yes, but to nature and us, perfection is when each and every part, even the tinest, is pure. That is why we have been searching for the organic threads for years. The stitching is also important, even if the threads are nearly invisible to a human eye.
We believe in nature’s genius. We love creating products that help you sleep better, look beautiful and are pure. Just as nature would design it. At EcoHealthLab we use certified organic cotton fabrics, linen and organic filling. Our hyper sensitive customers tested our fabrics for the presence of chemicals. They felt none. This is the purpose of the pure sleep-system.
Cradle to Cradle
There are several organic certificates, referring to organic products, processes. GOTS (Global Organic Textiles Standard) is one of those. Cradle to Cradle is another one. It is one of the most respected and trusted certificates, as it describes a product that reaches perfection in every part of the product and its creation. A situation, where there are no harmfull chemicals left when the product is thrown away, but only nutrients for other organisms to use. New organic cotton threads used by us to create our organic mattresses and pillows, like the globally loved organic buckwheat mattress, will have the threads with the Cradle to Cradle certificate.
