Family at heart
New year is here 🙂 In my family, it is a special time, as today we celebrate my father’s birthday. He is no longer alive, but he is one of the greatest persons I have been close to in my life. My father was a very beautiful human being, a caring one, who loved us very much. Family at heart. I have learned a lot from him, and his presence shines through in my life. When I look back on his history, as I discover the history of my family, I find incredible inspiration. I want to share some of his beauty with you.

Parents
His name was Józef, and he was born on the 4th of January 1948 in a mansion in the woods just at the foot of the Giant Mountains (knows also as Karkonosze mountains). He loved nature, dogs, and from an early age he knew how important it was to rely on the self. The times were tough in Poland, as the country came through war and recovered wounded and was bleeding. People were still dying, vanishing, as the communistic regime that ruled the country removed the freedom fighters. Poland was detached from the rest of the democratic world. Finding the high quality things was not easy.
Self-reliance
Nature thought my father the virtue of honesty and hard work. Nature and a difficult childhood. His father was not an easy man. The motorcycle that you see on the photo was repaired by him with ease. This is the approach he had for almost everything he touched. Whether he was preparing our new appartment ( he did everything there: wooden floors, straightening the walls, lights, bathroom, toilet, kitchen). Or perhaps driving a car, working with the architects in Germany, leading a section in a big factory or simply studying. Together with my mother, they became the best students of their class. His honesty and attitude were well-known, and he is still remembered by many people in the town where they lived. And it is almost 20 years since his death.
Honesty shines through
This is because of his heart, approach to everything he was doing, honesty and open horizons of his mind. For example, when I was a child, we travelled a lot. The times were tough, and my parents did not have much, but they saved money. When I asked my mom why they sacrified so much for the travels, she told me it was because they wanted us (me and my sister) to see, that there are other realities different from what we were experiencing in Poland. Family at heart, they gave us a chance to see different choices.

His approach to precision is what I also have in my life. When you do something, give it your heart, to each and every detail. Treat it as a whole, as this activity takes your precious time and attention. If you decide to spend it on doing that particular thing, it becomes a part of you. The appartment my father created was truly beautiful. The another thing about him and my mother was their drive to know everything they could on a specific topic. All of it required attention and truly hard work. Yes, they worked hard.
Remembering and learning
When I look on the family photos I feel admiration and gratitude. We spend time with people, and sooner or later we become a little bit like them, or are inspired by them. Sometimes we inherit some of the traits. However, what is also important, that no matter whom we have around, we stay true to who we are, our values, our truth. Indeed, my father is a geat inspiration to me, and to our company. Having family at heart, the products we create at EcoHealthLab serve people well, and are beautiful. Moreover, we create them with a sense of purpose and love for others. Further, these qualities I learned from him, and I cherish his memory, love I have for him, and freedom he always gave me. Freedom to be myself.
Everything you do is the perfect expression of who you are. Your love and values. As our products at EcoHealthLab are the expression of who we are, and of our trust in you, and love for the spirit of a human being. To your health.
To all the beautiful men and women out there.
