Heal yourself first: how self-love affects our lives
There is no shortage of people who experience stress these days. Modern society is full of reasons for a person to embrace stress and get discouraged about all the aspects of life. When you suffer from stress, it is pretty easy for you to give up things easily, think negatively and live without any ambition. So, what is the best way to stay away from stress and live the life you deserve? What you must remember is that relief from stress cannot be achieved by taking a handful of pills every day. If you are looking for a sustainable remedy, however, the key is to start loving yourself – which is completely practical, not expensive and not difficult if you get it right.

As a matter of fact, self-love is not a difficult approach at all. The key to start loving your self is to look at your ‘true self’. Most of us are camouflaged with a false personality to impress the others around us (the society in particular). Living a false life is a huge weight to carry; you have to pretend a lot and make a lot of effort to remember the false personality all the time. In fact, this is torturing!
First, you must figure out who you are. As soon as you realize what you love and what you deserve, you can simply escape the false you. Remember, you cannot learn how to love society or how to love oneself without learning how to create self-love. Take a piece of paper and write down the things that trouble you every day and put extra weight on. Once you are done with the list, you should analyze if it is worth enough to take such weight with you all the time. Also, you should figure out the approaches you use to pretend in front of the society. Can you really afford the car you are using now? Do you really need to live in an expensive (and so-called luxury) house? Do you really live with the one you love? Stop pretending and be honest with yourself. Take a deep breath and realize the truth. Then figure out the things you can to do stop pretending anymore and eliminate the things that are too-heavy.
Next, you should start treating yourself. It is completely OK to spend some money (if that is necessary) for the betterment of your health. Start worrying about how to stay healthy instead of worrying about purchasing a more expensive car or moving to an expensive house. You must have adequate time to sleep; you deserve it. Make sure that you have some time to do some exercises. Play a game of tennis, ride a bicycle, go for walk, jog or swim every day. Getting a gym membership should a priority. Also, be sure to eat healthy food instead of relying on junk food. Have some time for yourself; meditation or relaxation exercises are vital in this case. Eventually, you will figure out how to create miracles in your life.
