How a zafu meditation pillow led to a vice-ambassador of Japan

“Martyna, would you prepare organic zafu meditation pillows for our Aikido training center?” my friend asked.

“Yes, how can we help?” I replied 🙂

This is how it started. The reason the training center needed the pillows was simple and truly beautiful. Indeed, a vice-Ambassador of Japan in Poland was coming to them, for a special reason. Further, the center run by an experienced and wise Aikido master, called Sensei, attracted attention of the Embassy of Japan. Furthermore, the Japanese wanted to give the center a special acknowledgment.

So we started working. We had just a few days to do everything, to create 21 truly beautiful organic zafu meditation pillows, made of natural and black organic cotton. Moreover, we were filling them with a mixture of the most exquisite organic buckwheat and spelt hulls possible. Everything was ready when they needed it. Finally, a day before the meeting I drove to the Aikido master (Sensei), and gave the organic zafus that we prepared.

They looked beautiful, in the modest surrounding, created in a Japanese style.

Why is Japan so influential

Japan, influences the minds of those who love wisdom and joy of life. WE want to start writing more about the Japanese way of thinking, as it inspires us.

And the day came. Finally, the Sensei invited us to take part in the meeting with the Vice-Ambassador of Japan. Moreover, it was a private meeting, so the joy was tremendous. The peace of mind the Aikido Master and the Vice Ambassador had, made me smile and feel happiness. Just after the meeting, Sensei let me give the Vice-Ambassador a present: our beautiful organic black zafu meditation pillow, to accompany him during meditation and in his life, whether in the Embassy of Japan or home in Poland.

Again, my heart is filled with joy and gratitude to life and those kind spirits I meet on the way. Finally, to the beauty of continues work and belief in good thinking and work towards a better future of us all and the environment.
