First, the meditation cushion set we create by taking one organic buckwheat zafu pillow and one organic buckwheat zabuton mattress. Moreover, Zafu is a round seat cushion people use for meditation. What’s more, the shape of the pillow allows you to sit cross-legged comfortably. Further, by sitting on this special pillow your buttocks will be higher than your knees when it’s placed on the floor/ground/mattress. Again, this helps you to assume the correct position for meditation.

The construction of the zabuton mattress

Finally, the buckwheat mattress, zabuton, is a square mattress we create for you to sit on. Interestingly, it first originated in Japan centuries ago, where it’s still in use today in places where sitting is on the floor. Also, you can find it throughout Japan, and the Zen monks often use it in combination with zafu which they place on top of a zabuton.

Moreover, the mattress is firm and we fill it with organic buckwheat hulls that delicately massage your muscles and joints. Further, we make the cover out of 100% high quality cotton and you can choose between 5 different colours: natural, linen beige/light grey, blue, black and white.

The organic buckwheat Zabuton is specifically designed to help your spine while sitting, whether you sit on the mat directly or use the Zafu pillow. First, it is made of tubes, filled with healthy anti-allergic buckwheat hulls. Second, the surface is of medium hardness, to properly support your spine, but if you prefer a softer mat, we can remove some of the hulls for you. Moreover, add the Zafu pillow, to experience a great support for your spine while sitting on it, whether you are meditatting, working, or simply relaxing.

Our organic products, are chemicals safe. Further, we purchase our highest quality fabrics from a trusted organic fabrics store in Germany, Europe. Moreover, the organic cotton we use is tightly woven, soft yet strong and very durable. Equally important, our linen gets stronger with every washing of it.

GOTS ( a well-respected Global Organic Textile Standard) is a recognized and respected certificate, stating that the fabrics are chemical free, which means that there are no artificial additives, pesticides, insectidies, herbicides in them.

We make our organic products by hand in Poland.What’s more, our Genius seamstress Maria takes care of each and every of our creations, sometimes to overlook somebody else’s work, and at other times to create the products by herself. In addition, we fill the products by hand. Moreover, the hulls we use are prepared by hand as well, the charlock seeds as well (we sometimes use them to add a special pain-reducing factor to our products). Also, each organic Zafu and Zabuton set is unique, and prepared with love  and the utmost care that our customers can feel.
